VialVue is a tool for keeping track of medications you have already been prescribed or chosen to take. It is not a medical service and does not give medical advice.

This app does not give medical advice

Nothing in VialVue is a recommendation to take, stop, change or adjust any medication. Always follow the directions from your prescriber and your pharmacist, and speak to them before changing anything.

VialVue records what you tell it. It does not check whether a medication is right for you, and it does not check for interactions between the medications you take.

Always check what a scan finds

Scanning a label uses AI to read the text in a photo, and it can misread things — a dose, a strength, a frequency. That is why the app asks you to review and confirm every detail before it is saved.

Check the details against the label itself. If something looks wrong, correct it before saving.

Reminders can be missed

Reminders are scheduled on your device. They can be delayed or missed if your phone is off, out of battery, or if notifications are turned off for the app.

Do not rely on VialVue alone for a medication where a missed or late dose matters.

Supply figures are estimates

Days of supply, doses remaining and low-supply warnings are worked out from what you have recorded. If a dose was taken but not logged, or a quantity is out of date, those figures will be wrong.

Treat them as a helpful prompt to check, not as an accurate count of what is in the bottle.

In an emergency

If you think you have taken too much of a medication, are having a bad reaction, or are otherwise unwell, contact your local emergency services or a poison control center straight away. Do not use this app to decide what to do.
