Terms of Service
Last updated October 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and ZANTRUM LLC, the company that provides VialVue ("we" or "us"), for using the app. Please read them along with the Privacy Policy and the Medical Disclaimer, which are part of them.
Using VialVue
You need to be at least 18 to create an account. Keep your sign-in details to yourself, and let us know if you think someone else has used your account.
Please enter information as accurately as you can. VialVue works from what you record, so its schedule, reminders and supply figures are only as good as that information.
Subscriptions and payment
Setting up VialVue, including scanning your first medication, is free. After that, using VialVue requires a paid subscription: monthly at $4.99 a month, or annual at $39.99 a year. Prices are in US dollars and may differ in other countries. The price that applies to you is always shown in the app before you buy.
Subscriptions are bought through the App Store on iPhone or Google Play on Android, and payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google account when you confirm the purchase.
Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each month or year, at the same price, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Your account is charged for the renewal within the 24 hours before the period ends.
You can cancel or change your plan at any time in your Apple ID or Google account settings. On iPhone, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions. On Android, open Google Play, tap your profile picture, then Payments and subscriptions. If you cancel, you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for. Deleting the app, or deleting your VialVue account, does not cancel a subscription.
If a subscription price changes, you will be told in advance, as Apple and Google require, and you can cancel before the new price applies.
Payments are processed by Apple or Google, so refund requests go to them and are decided under their policies. We are not able to issue refunds for purchases made through their stores.
If you change phones or reinstall VialVue, tap Restore Purchases in the app to restore an active subscription bought with the same Apple ID or Google account.
If your subscription ends, your information stays in your account, and you can still view everything already in the app and delete your account at any time. Everything else needs an active subscription, including scanning or adding medications, editing or archiving them, marking doses, reminders, exporting reports and calling your pharmacy from the app. It all works again as soon as you resubscribe.
If your subscription ends, VialVue will stop sending medication reminders. Keep taking your medications as prescribed, and use another way to remember them until you resubscribe.
Not medical advice
VialVue helps you keep track of medications. It does not give medical advice, and it does not replace your prescriber or pharmacist. The Medical Disclaimer explains this in full.
In an emergency, contact your local emergency services or a poison control center straight away.
Scanning with AI
Scanning sends a photo of a label or document to Anthropic, the company that makes the Claude AI, to read it. The app asks for your permission before your first scan, and the Privacy Policy explains how the photo is handled.
AI can misread a label. You are responsible for checking every detail a scan finds before you save it.
People you care for
If you add another person to VialVue, you confirm that you have their permission, or are otherwise authorized (for example as their caregiver, guardian or under a power of attorney), to store and manage their medication information here, including scanning their labels.
You are responsible for the information you add about them, and for removing it if that permission ends.
Your information
Your information stays yours. The Privacy Policy explains what we store and why. You can delete any of it, or your whole account, at any time from inside the app.
Using the app fairly
Do not use VialVue to break the law, to store information about someone without the right to, or to interfere with the app or anyone else’s use of it.
We may suspend or close an account that is used this way.
Availability and changes
We work to keep VialVue running and accurate, but we cannot promise it will always be available or free of mistakes. We may change, add or remove features over time.
Reminders are delivered by your phone and can be delayed or missed. Do not rely on VialVue alone where a missed dose matters.
Limits on our responsibility
VialVue is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for harm that comes from relying on the app instead of medical advice, from information that was entered or scanned incorrectly, or from a reminder that did not arrive.
Changes to these terms
If these terms change in a way that matters, we will update this page and its date, and let you know in the app.
